Can't See Dota 2 Inventory

Earlier i tried to look at my dota 2 inventory in the steam client, all other inventories appear like team fortress or my steam trading cards appeared, but my dota 2 inventory just didn't appear when i clicked the tab, which is strange because i can see my inventory fine ingame, a few of my friends are having the same problem. I can't see the in-game item (non-cosmetic) descriptions in my inventory, or anyone elses. it shows in the shop, but not when i hover over it in anyone's inventory..
